I think a topic that’s going to be on exam 2 is Phase diagram and IMF.
i predict a question on the second exam would be
Why is there no define phase of matter after the critical temperature and critical pressure point.

The Lassi test helps me to understand myself better. Some of the problems are similar as I expected. For example, I know I need to improve my stress management and concentration problem. My test scores of these two are low, coincide what I thought about myself before. It also helps me to be aware of other academic weakness. For example, the test shows I don’t use study aids sufficiently and effectively, which I never realized before. It’s hard for people to understand themselves objectively, but Lassi did, to some extent. The changes I want to make are communicate with my fellows and professors more, and modify my study plan to study more efficiently.
For the second exam, I believe it will cover all of the materials without leaving a single thing, just as the first exam. One of the topics might be about membrane related to macromolecules. I think the question for this exam may be to give and explain the structure of membrane based on the macromolecules that construct the membrane.
About the LASSI test, I have a low score in selecting main ideas section. Before I took this test, I did not really realize that I cannot catch the main idea well. Usually I just read the textbook, but now I try to underline the main point in every section I read. I think it is helpful as I can find the important parts easily.
How does superhydrophobic coating adhere to surfece and repel liquid substances?
The worlds a shocking place. At least now it is, with my very existence relying on the concept of probability. But now, here’s another one. I scored a 5 on STA on the Lassi, STA meaning “Study Aids”.
Of course, I know that I don’t use different size fonts or italics or bold or anything really when I’m taking notes, but I thought that I segmented them well. But after seeing the Lassi score I’ve kicked my not taking up a notch!
I’ve begun to use Two and I mean Two, different color pens when I’m taking notes. One for the ideas from class and the other for my personal ideas, rewording, questions, and etc. This way, I would also stimulate INP (Information Processing) which I tested mediocre on.
Furthermore, since the semester began I’ve been utilizing the available resources, meaning Paul and Rafik, going to nearly every SI session held. Also, I’ve been attending study groups and so on with a passion!
This is a question that popped into my head when I was reading over my notes for the second exam. It might simply have stuck out to me because it was a really interesting subject.
Question:
It has been found that within a redwood, which is approximately 100 meters all, there is a pressure gradation that allows for water to defy the force of gravity and travel up from the roots to the tip. Explain how the pressure gradation is sustained and how the water does not turn into a gaseous state. Make sure to explain both the chemical and biological implications associated with this anomaly.
Predicted topic: Molecular Shape
Predicted question: What is the predicted bond angle for COCl2 ? What is the observed angle for COCl2 and why is that so?
Dr Harmen gives us a formula of a compound, we draw the Lewis structure, determine polarity, hybridized orbital ect. Then Dr Foster asks us how to transport it into our cells. At last, we have to explain why, such as IMFs, enthalpy. and entropy.
