Undocumented students can start applying for state financial aid beginning April 2, 2012! The 2012-13 California Dream Act Application for AB 131 Institutional grants and community college fee waivers (payable starting January 2013) is now available! Please share widely! For any questions, please see website. Students are being advised to “see their institution’s financial aid office ASAP about application information”. http://www.csac.ca.gov/dream_act.asp
Due to the high need of this time sensitive information the PCC Undocumented Allies along with the Students United Without Boundaries Club will be having a DIY workshop to review the current Dream Act application to trouble shoot any questions or issues that may come up. We invite you to participate in this first general meeting. Also we hope that you can keep the Allies and students posted about any upcoming workshops, meetings, or event’s you may know about for these undocumented students in the near future.

The TABE Scholarship is sponsored by The Pasadena City College Association of Black Employees (TABE). Several scholarships are issued each year by the association.
Qualifications
1. U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
2. Transfer or Career and Technical Ed. Program student at Pasadena City College (PCC)
3. Cumulative PCC grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or above
4. Completed 24 or more units at PCC
Application Process
1. Complete TABE Scholarship Application. Application must be typed online and printed. Do not download
and handwrite application
2. Compose a one to two-page typed personal statement describing your educational and career goals at PCC
and any hardships or obstacles that you have overcome to achieve them
3. Two letters of recommendation from an instructor, counselor, or advisor
