This is my cat, Lau Hu.

I began Chem 1A/Bio 10A this week and the first thing I did was run home and tell my cat about it. I told him about the projects I have to do for the class, such as teaching assignments presented to fellow classmates and maintain my own tumblr account, which I’m completely new to. I told him about my new eportfolio. I showed him both my Chem and Bio book (very BIG books). I could tell he felt overwhelmed with all this information and when I asked what he thought he began to let out a big yawn. This is a picture I took of him mid-yawn. (It is not odd for me to have a camera in hand while conversing, I love to take A LOT of pictures.) Even though this was a yawn, I find there is a fierceness quality in it. I believe it captures my feeling towards this class. I may feel overwhelmed now (maybe more later), but I am confident in succeeding. I plan to work hard and use all that is given to me wisely. I am convinced that with my professors, my fellow classmates, and all the other resources put in place I will accomplish success. I am happy and thankful for this opportunity to learn and achieve something that is completely new.

As you could tell I enjoy talking to cats, and there is a very simple answer if your a dog lover and are asking yourself why. Simply because I have 14 of them! About two years ago, I found a cute little kitten and suddenly it was two generations of cats later. It was unbelievable, however I enjoy them because I am a huge animal lover (I have a dog too!).

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. And just so you know, I don’t really talk to cats, that much. :)

First off, I thought “about me” was a little too…

First off, I thought “about me” was a little too cliche and frankly quite
boring :P

My name’s Daniel Jacqueson Smith and I am a Chemical Engineering undergrad
major concentrating on Chemical Pathology which the the study of
disease-causing pathogens and how chemistry plays a role in their
development as well as diagnosis/treatment. I’m in my second year here at
PCC and plan to transfer soon to USC (hopefully).

Okay now that the boring stuff is out of the way, let’s talk about the fun
stuff.

Two atoms are walking into a bar, and one of them says to the other:
“Hey, wait up a second. I think I lost an electron”
The first atom replied, “Are you sure?”
The second atom exclaimed, “Yes, I’m positive!”

A proton, neutron, and electron went out to dinner one night. After a
luxurious meal, the waiter brought the check to the proton and the
electron. The neutron was perplexed as to why the waiter didn’t bring him
his check. So, he summoned the waiter to the table and asked him about it.
The waiter explained to the neutron, “For you, there’s no charge!”

By far my two favorite jokes! If you don’t get them, after this class I’m
sure you will. If you get them but don’t find them funny, then you make me
very sad to see such lack of what normal people call a sense of humor :(

I am a musician, a writer, and an athlete but no I can not do all three at
the same time. I try to be as relaxed as possible as it’s too much work
stressing out all the time. I generally am quite nice to people and
definitely don’t mind a good conversation. I love to help people and am
always willing to do so whenever the need is there and I’m able to. I grew
up in El Monte and still live there as of today. I love animals and hope to
one day own a pig which I want to conduct gene therapy on so it glows in
the dark :3

That’s me!

Hi. My name is Joseph. I like to play guitar, and I am currently a praise team leader in korean church. I visited India, Indonesia, and Philippine before.

I really like that I finally got in chem and bio class! Thank that I can finish Bio and Chem together in one semester; i really like this structure. I know it would require a lot of work to do great in these classes. Since I have part time job for 5 days a week, I am worried whether I can handle all the works, but I will try my best.

The picture is showing bungee jump. Like bungee jumping, I worry about this course before it actually begins. However, as I go through it, I believe it will be really exciting.

About Me

Hello, my name is Edward To. I am currently trying to transfer to a four year university as a Biology major for this upcoming fall. I don’t know what I want to do with a Biology major yet so I’m just taking science classes to keep my options open. This is my first time taking Biology in college so I don’t know what to expect. Hopefully, this class would help open up more options for me.

Hmmm, one interesting thing about myself is that for some weird reason I can make my vision blurry whenever I want even though I have 20/20 vision. Why? I dont know…

It’s another new term in pcc, and this is by far the worst term ever…. It is such a big effort for a person to wake up at 6 from monday through friday for classes at 7 a.m. But actually, it might not be as bad as it sounds because there are some people that i recognize and they came from Indonesia too. Having biology and chem 5 days a week is a disaster. I think the last time I took a science class was 2 years ago and i can’t seem to recall anything. I really like bio, but not much for chem because it’s about molecules and stuffs so it is not as interesting as biology. It is the first week and they taught us about water and cell. My head is still filled with anything but chem and bio, but we were given test on chem which were filled with calculation. As expected, I got a crappy result… That’s it i don’t wanna talk anymore :(

Introducing myself?

To say something interesting about me, I don’t wear pants when I go out, I love wearing socks of different color, I love to peep on female lavatory,,,

Nah, I’m just kidding, I just don’t know what’s interesting about me.

If I have to say, I can’t get fat at all!!!!
I like eating greasy stuff, and I tend to eat a lot and I still can’t gain some weight.
I probably should do a body-check later to see if there are parasites in my stomach LOL

The last time i visited i remember taxis everywhere, it was very rural and is now industrialized. It was amazing to see the change through the years. Having one of the latest registration dates for a continuing student the image describes how i feel getting into the class.
