Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions are peer-led, regularly-scheduled, informal review sessions in which students compare notes, discuss readings, develop organizational tools, and predict test items. The sessions are facilitated by trained “SI leaders”, students who have previously done well in the course and who all attend your class lectures, take notes, and are prepared to provide you with extra support in your classes. SI Sessions are currently available for students enrolled in Biology 1A, Biology 3, Chemistry 1A, Chemistry 2A, Anatomy 25, and Microbiology. Exam Jam is a drop-in tutoring session that helps prepare you for a specific exam and/or topic that is covered in future exams. Exam Jam sessions are led by students who have previously completed and mastered the course and demonstrated knowledge in the course content. Currently, Exam Jam is offered in Chemistry 1A, Chemistry 1B and Biology  1A and open to all currently enrolled students.
