Can you believe it’s already that time-the semester end and final exams! Bio 1A students have taken advantage of the hands-on experience in the Studio and have begun working together and practicing for their upcoming exams.

Students take wet biomass measurements of the plants they have been growing all semester long. The growing has been part of a semester long Bio Mass Project in Bio 1A that aimed to teach students the scientific method in a more hands-on, interactive way.
After a long day of construction and teamwork, the student leaders stand proudly with the prototype of their first grow system!
