The first day was quite the success, sight seeing in the morning as well as
the first instalment of the Hacu coneference. I expect nothing less from
today, with actual workshops and more of a chance to network with different
students and organizations.

I would have never guessed that I would be going on a trip like this one,
not only is it in Washington D.C. but it’s the Annual HACU conference!! I
will definitely keep an open mind an a confident attitude. I hope to meet
like minded individuals, as well as network with professionals who want to
help students out. But there is much to be gained; I wouldn’t know where to
start!
